The 2017 Flora and Fauna (flona) will be held in Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta on July 21-August 21, 2017. The event will be enlivened by 380 small and medium enterprises (UKM), private companies, BUMD and BUMN.

Jakarta Forestry Dept. Secretary, Uus Kuswanto said, besides exhibiting various kinds of flora and fauna, the event with theme Make Jakarta as a Friend Of Nature and sub-theme takes carnival nuance in the park would also has contests and various entertainments. Among them are photography, painting, drawing, and bird chirping, as well as dance and band festival.

"As planned, there will also be cat and dog fashion show. We'll also hold mini-pom merian dog and pitbull dog sports," he expressed, Thursday (5/18).

This year, one gate system for the visitor will also be applied this year. While for the food and beverage area will be used as non-cash system.

"There will also be Ragunan Zoo stand with animal performance. We also cooperate with Taman Safari," he stated. 

Dewi Rosariyanti Syam, an organizer event added the event will be free of charge. As for the UKM actors who are interested to market their products, can contact Jakarta Forestry Dept.

"Until now, there have been 130 stands enrolled," he closed.
